TVS SCS Secures Three-Year In-Plant Logistics Contract with DICV

TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited has recently secured a three-year contract from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles to manage in-plant warehouse operations at its manufacturing facility in Chennai. Around 700 employees from TVS SCS will be deployed as part of this engagement, reinforcing the company’s focus on technology-driven supply chain solutions for global automotive players.

Under the agreement, TVS SCS will oversee end-to-end warehouse operations within the facility, ensuring seamless material flow, optimised inventory management and improved operational efficiency. The scope includes the deployment of IoT-based tracking for real-time visibility, automation-led systems to reduce manual handling, predictive analytics for smarter planning, and digital dashboards for centralised performance monitoring.

Sukumar K, CEO – India & MEA, TVS Supply Chain Solutions, said the engagement builds on the company’s long-standing global relationship with Daimler and leverages its expertise in in-plant logistics and automation-led operations.
