TVS SCS Secures Three-Year In-Plant Logistics Contract with DICV

TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited has recently secured a three-year contract from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles to manage in-plant warehouse operations at its manufacturing facility in Chennai. Around 700 employees from TVS SCS will be deployed as part of this engagement, reinforcing the company’s focus on technology-driven supply chain solutions for global automotive players.
Under the agreement, TVS SCS will oversee end-to-end warehouse operations within the facility, ensuring seamless material flow, optimised inventory management and improved operational efficiency. The scope includes the deployment of IoT-based tracking for real-time visibility, automation-led systems to reduce manual handling, predictive analytics for smarter planning, and digital dashboards for centralised performance monitoring.

Implementation Status of Jal Jeevan Mission

Since August 2019 the Government has implemented Jal Jeevan Mission to provide assured potable water through household tap connections in rural India.
