Ramky Infra Bags Rs 20.9 Billion Water Supply Project

Ramky Infrastructure Ltd has secured a Rs 20.9 billion Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) contract from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board. The project, awarded under the Mallannasagar Water Supply Scheme, covers execution of the Godavari Drinking Water Supply Scheme Phase II and Phase III. It aims to channel Godavari water into the Osmansagar and Himayathsagar reservoirs to rejuvenate the Musi River.

The scope entails a two-year construction phase followed by 10 years of operations and maintenance under the HAM framework. With this award, Ramky Infra’s order book increased to Rs 76.5 billion as of 30 June 2025, representing about 27 per cent of the company’s total order book.

Following the announcement, Ramky Infrastructure shares rose 3.05 per cent on 19 September 2025, trading at Rs 607.85 as of 11:18 am. Over the last six months, the stock has gained 23 per cent, though it has slipped 8 per cent in the past year.
