Tender Issued for 21 MW Madia Powerhouse in Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh’s Water Resources Department has floated a tender for the turnkey construction of the 21 MW Madia Powerhouse under the Bina Complex irrigation and multipurpose project.

The scope includes building the powerhouse and associated structures such as the head race channel, intake and bypass channels, weir, stilling basin, draft tube, and fully equipped powerhouse with sanitation, electrification, and water supply. It also involves setting up a switchyard and a 132 kV transmission line connecting to the nearest MPPGCL substation.

The project is valued at Rs 2.21 billion and must be completed within 36 months. Bids must be submitted by 26 May 2025.
