V.L. Infraprojects Wins Rs 420.12 Mn GWSSB Water Supply Project

V.L. Infraprojects Limited (NSE: VLINFRA), a specialist in water supply and sewerage infrastructure, has received a Letter of Intent from the Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board (GWSSB) for the augmentation of the Hadaf Regional Water Supply Scheme in Limkheda and Singvad talukas of Dahod district, Gujarat.

The project is valued at Rs 420.12 million and has been awarded at 5.99 percent above the estimated cost. It will be executed through a joint venture between V.L. Infra Projects, which holds an 80 percent stake as the lead partner, and H.M. Electro Mech with a 20 percent share. The contract includes an 18-month period for execution of capital works, followed by a 10-year operations and maintenance (O&M) phase, commencing from the date of issue of the LOI.

The scope of work covers the supply, laying and jointing of DI and PVC pipelines for both rising and gravity mains, along with the design and construction of a Water Treatment Plant. It also includes the construction of RCC elevated service reservoirs, underground sumps, pump houses, staff quarters and compound walls, as well as the installation of pumping machinery and electrification works. Village-level connectivity and allied infrastructure will also be developed as part of the project.

The project is being undertaken under GWSSB’s capital works tender and is aimed at strengthening drinking water infrastructure across multiple villages under the Hadaf Regional Water Supply Scheme. The order reinforces V.L. Infraprojects’ role in executing large-scale government-led water infrastructure projects, encompassing both construction and long-term system operations.

Commenting on the development, Rajagopal Reddy Annam Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director, V.L. Infraprojects Limited, said, “The award of this project by GWSSB reflects our strong execution capabilities and long-standing experience in water infrastructure projects. The combination of EPC scope and long-term O&M responsibility enhances revenue visibility and aligns well with our focus on sustainable infrastructure development.”
