AP braces for 2nd major port

Government of Andhra Pradesh is planning to develop a second major port in the state and is awaiting finalisation of the site. The state, on its part, will play the role of a facilitator, harnessing the technical expertise of the public sector and attracting huge investments from the private sector. The state government has identified the PPP mode as a key driver for the development of infrastructure and sustainable economic development.

"Northeast Frontier Railway will commission a Multi Section Digital Axle Counter (MSDAC) at the New Jalpaiguri yard under the Katihar Division from July 26 to 28, affecting several Vande Bharat, Rajdhani and passenger services across the region, according to ANI.
