GROHE launches Essence Crafted Lever for premium bathroom design

GROHE has introduced the Essence Crafted Lever in India, the newest addition to its award-winning Essence collection of bathroom fittings. The launch expands the brand’s premium offering by combining refined design with advanced functionality to enhance contemporary bathroom aesthetics.

The Essence Crafted Lever features a redesigned lever profile offered in three colour schemes—Crafted Chrome, Brushed Warm Sunset and Brushed Cool Sunrise. The finishes are designed to add a tactile dimension to modern bathroom spaces while preserving the sensual-minimalist design language that defines the Essence collection.

The introduction comes at a time when bathrooms in India are increasingly being designed as personalised spaces rather than purely functional areas. Architects and homeowners are exploring combinations of smooth and textured surfaces, along with brushed and polished finishes, to create interiors that emphasise depth and individuality.

For more than two decades, the Essence collection has been associated with balanced proportions and understated elegance. The new Crafted Lever builds on this legacy with a micro-pattern texture that provides a subtle visual and tactile contrast. Inspired by traditional craftsmanship and realised through modern engineering, the lever transforms a functional element into a distinctive design feature.

Speaking about the launch, Priya Rustogi, Leader (Managing Director), India, LIXIL IMEA, said, “Indian consumers today are increasingly seeking bathrooms that reflect individuality and thoughtful design. The Essence Crafted Lever responds to this aspiration by introducing texture as a refined design element. It blends craftsmanship with engineering precision, allowing architects and homeowners to create cohesive, expressive spaces without compromising on performance.”

Available in multiple sizes and across key draw-off points, the lever can be integrated across bathroom fixtures to maintain a cohesive aesthetic. It also incorporates GROHE SilkMove technology, enabling smooth and precise control of water flow and temperature while ensuring long-term reliability.

With the launch of the Essence Crafted Lever, GROHE aims to further strengthen its presence in India’s affordable luxury bathroom segment.
