Panasonic Launches SIP Video Intercom System

Panasonic Life Solutions India has launched its VL-VQ Series SIP-based IP Video Intercom System, aimed at enhancing security and access management across modern residential developments.

Designed for apartments, gated communities and large housing projects, the system offers a three-layered security framework integrating residences, building entrances and central security operations. It combines door stations, lobby display units, room monitors, guard stations and central management software into a unified platform, enabling real-time monitoring and communication.

The system supports multiple access modes, including face recognition, QR codes, IC cards, smartphones and remote unlocking, while allowing residents and security teams to manage visitor access and surveillance efficiently.

Commenting on the launch, Tomo Kazuya, Chief Business Planning, Panasonic Entertainment & Communication Co. The system is built on a SIP-based architecture, allowing integration with IP infrastructure, CCTV systems and third-party devices. It supports real-time monitoring, alarm notifications and remote access via smartphones.

Panasonic also introduced a KIT Model-VL-VQS300 for individual homes, offering a simplified video door phone solution. With this launch, the company aims to strengthen its connected solutions portfolio aligned with India’s expanding smart residential ecosystem.
