Southco Launches R4-15 Rotary Latch for Heavy Machinery

Southco has introduced the R4-15 Rotary Latch, designed to simplify access across heavy machinery by allowing operators to open multiple panels with a single key. The innovation brings master-key convenience, traditionally used in building maintenance, to vehicles with numerous access points.

The R4-15’s versatile design can secure different types of panels, offering multiple tool-actuated options compatible with other latches on the same vehicle. Manufacturers can also opt for a hand-operated version with a permanently attached key, ensuring ergonomic comfort during use.

Built for harsh environments, the R4-15 features reinforced housing, sturdy construction, and a zinc–nickel coating that provides corrosion resistance and longer service life. Its adaptable design delivers reliable security, ease of use, and improved efficiency for operators managing complex machinery.
