Niraj Cement Wins Rs 1.64 Billion Infra Orders

Niraj Cement Structurals (JV) has secured two major infrastructure contracts from the Northeast Frontier Railway and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority, strengthening its presence in large-scale railway and urban construction works.

The first contract, awarded by Northeast Frontier Railway, involves the construction of multiple-span 12.20-metre PSC slab underpasses, a major bridge numbered 727, retaining and guide walls, embankments and a minor bridge along the proposed up and down lines near Deepor Beel. The works span kilometre 163/00 to 164/200 between Azara and Kamakhya stations and form part of the New Bongaigaon–Goalpara Town–Kamakhya railway doubling project. The order is valued at Rs 815.2 million.

The company has also received a second contract worth Rs 826.6 million from MMRDA for the construction of a foot overbridge equipped with a travellator. The project will improve connectivity between the SGMC monorail station and the Mahalaxmi metro and suburban railway station, supporting seamless multimodal urban transport.

Together, the two contracts underline Niraj Cement Structurals’ capabilities across transportation infrastructure and complex construction in environmentally sensitive and high-density urban areas, further strengthening its portfolio in modern railway and metropolitan projects.
