On the bright and promising morning of April 13, 2025, Hariyana International Academy, a distinguished initiative of Hariyana Shiksha Kendra, commemorated a significant milestone with the formal inauguration of its newly established campus. The auspicious event, held in the School’s Main Auditorium, witnessed the convergence of esteemed dignitaries, educators, parents, students and members of the local community in a celebration of educational vision, cultural heritage and institutional progress. The ceremony was graced by a distinguished gathering of guests. Among those present were Prof. Anuradha Lohia as the Chief Guest, along with Padma Shri Sajjan Bhajanka and Shri Hari Krishna Chaudhary as Guests of Honour. The ceremony commenced with a traditional Lighting of the Lamp, symbolising the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. The sacred ritual was accompanied by the chanting of Ganesh Vandana, creating a devotional and spiritually uplifting atmosphere. A heartfelt Saraswati Vandana, performed by the teachers of HIA added further reverence to the occasion. A resplendent image of Bharat Mata stood beside the ceremonial lamp, while LED diyas were lit by the dignitaries as a symbolic gesture of light, wisdom and unity. The central lamp was illuminated by the Chief Guest, formally marking the beginning of the day’s proceedings. The Headmistress then took to the stage to deliver a heartfelt welcome address. She expressed deep gratitude to all present and emphasised the vision and values of Hariyana Shiksha Kendra that have guided the establishment of the school. Her words reflected the school’s mission to create a space where academic excellence is nurtured alongside character, creativity and compassion. A colourful cultural interlude added vibrancy to the programme. The audience was treated to a traditional Haryanvi folk dance that paid homage to the cultural roots of the institution and a dynamic performance celebrating Poila Boisakh, the Bengali New Year. These performances beautifully highlighted the Academy’s commitment to embracing and celebrating the diverse heritage of India. The Principal Advisor to the school, renowned Psychologist by profession and mentor to the school’s leadership team, Dr Amitabh Mohan, then took the stage to speak about the mission and the vision of the school emphasising on the future aspirations and goal of Hariyana Shiksha Kendra in ensuring creating future global leaders. The next segment featured the felicitation of dignitaries and the formal unveiling of the school prospectus. Each esteemed guest was formally acknowledged for their exceptional accomplishments and significant contributions in their respective fields. This gesture reflected the institution’s deep regard for exemplary leadership, commitment to excellence and meaningful service to society. The Trust Chairman, Shri Sajan Kumar Bansal, then delivered an inspiring address that outlined the vision behind the creation of Hariyana International Academy. VE Commercial Vehicles, a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, recorded sales of 7,318 units in April 2026, compared to 6,846 units in April 2025, registering 6.9 per cent growth.
