CIL's first CSR & Sustainability Conclave ends in Rachi headquarters

The first CSR & Sustainability Conclave hosted by Coal India Limited ended on May 7, 2022, in the Ranchi headquarters of Central Coalfields Ltd. (CCL). The conference drew almost 250 representatives from CIL.

The conference highlighted CIL's and its enterprises' contributions to combating Covid and enhancing people's lives via various CSR projects.

CSR and sustainable development experts offered their knowledge and experiences. On the margins of the conclave, an exhibition exhibiting the CSR efforts of CIL's subsidiary companies was established.

Various coal businesses received awards in honour of their efforts and devotion to adopting CSR programmes.

Coal India Limited is a coal mining and refining company controlled by the Indian government.

It is owned by the Government of India's Ministry of Coal. CIL is also the largest producer of coal worldwide.
