Coal Ministry gets 35 bids in 7th coal mine auction

The coal ministry said that it had received 35 bids for the seventh round of commercial coal mine auctions. On March 29, 2023, the ministry launched the 103 mines up for auction. The deadline for proposal submission was June 27.

The ministry reports that a total of 35 offline offers have been submitted for 18 coal mines, and seven mines have received two or more bids.

On June 28, the online bids that were submitted as part of the auction procedure will be revealed.
