Technology talks at the 16th IMME

Organised by CII, the 16th edition of the International Mining and Machinery Exhibition (IMME) - India's only focused fair for the mining industry was held between November 16-19, 2022, at Rajarhat in Kolkata.

The mining industry is key to India’s growth ambition of $5 trillion. With the government recently coming out with some critical reforms in the mining and coal sector under the Atmanirbhar Bharat package, mining is seen as one sector that has the potential to trigger growth, revenue and employment.

Against this backdrop, IMME 2022 showcased the latest range of mining machinery, equipment, advanced technology solutions, services and supplies from India and abroad. Since its inception in 1984, IMME has been the most prominent mining exhibition that brings together the segment's key players, contributing to the growth of the sector in India.
