IVECO, PETRONAS extend lubricants partnership until 2032

IVECO and PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) have renewed their strategic partnership for another five years, extending their collaboration until 2032. The agreement continues a relationship spanning more than five decades, centred on the development and supply of lubricants and technical fluids for IVECO's commercial vehicle range.

Under the renewed partnership, PLI will continue to co-engineer and exclusively supply the IVECO URANIA engine oils and IVECO TUTELA technical fluids, which include transmission fluids, brake fluids and coolants. The product range is designed to meet the operational requirements of IVECO's commercial vehicles across Europe and remains the only line of fluids officially recommended by the manufacturer.

The companies highlighted the recent launch of Urania Next 0W-16, an SAE 0W-16 engine oil developed for heavy-duty commercial vehicles. According to the companies, the formulation is designed to improve fuel efficiency, reduce carbon dioxide emissions and extend oil drain intervals, while meeting Euro 7 engine requirements.

The renewed agreement also includes initiatives to strengthen support for IVECO's dealer network across Europe. PLI will work with dealers to increase awareness of IVECO-approved lubricants while helping customers improve vehicle reliability and optimise total cost of ownership.

The partnership will continue to focus on joint product development, technical innovation and the delivery of lubrication solutions for evolving commercial vehicle technologies.
