Rajasthan calls HPCL to expedite refinery work

The government of Rajasthan has directed speeding up the construction work of the refinery at Pachpadra in the state’s Barmer district. Lok Bandhu, the District collector, reportedly visited the refinery and inspected ongoing construction work and held a meeting with Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) officers and asked them to get each work completed within the prescribed dates to start the refinery on time. He said that around 40-50% work on the refinery has been completed and the rest will also be completed within the given timeframe. He also asked to complete the works related to education, the environment and the health sector, as per reports.
