Durgapur Projects invites bids for 7 MW ground-mounted solar project

Durgapur Projects Limited (DPL) has issued an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) tender to install a 7 MW ground-mounted solar project in Durgapur, West Bengal.The deadline to present the proposals is December 2, 2021.

The deadline to submit the bids is 27 December, and the bids will be opened on 30 December. The pre-bidding meeting will take place on 17 December. The deadline to present the proposals is December 2, 2021.

The bidders will have to deposit Rs 7.1 million as earnest money deposit (EMD) by 29 December. The bidders will also have to submit a performance bank guarantee, which should be 3% of the contract value.

The bidders quoting a price less than Rs 282.5 million will have to provide a performance bank guarantee of 10% as that of the contract value.

The project work includes designing, engineering, procurement, supplying, testing, commissioning and erection of the solar power project on a turnkey basis. The winning bidder will have to provide a comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for five years.

The bidder must use a monocrystalline mono facial module or bifacial solar photovoltaic (PV) module with at least 500 W capacity.

For participating in the bidding, the bidder must have commissioned a minimum of one 7 MW ground-mounted solar project or two solar projects of 4 MW each at a single location. The project must be operational for a minimum of 12 months before the submission date.

The annual turnover of the bidder should be at least Rs 120 million in the last three financial years, with a positive net worth for the past three financial years.

If the bidder delays the project, liquidates or damages, 0.5% of the contract value will be applicable for delayed work per week, limited to 10% of the project cost, including Goods and Services Tax (GST).
