Adani Karur Transmission Project: Boosting Grid Connectivity

Adani Transmission Ltd., a leader in power transmission and distribution business, has successfully completed the Adani Karur Transmission Project. This initiative, designed to improve grid connectivity, is a significant step towards strengthening India's power infrastructure.

The Adani Karur Transmission Project includes the establishment of the 600 km long transmission line, connecting Karur in Tamil Nadu to Pugalur in Kerala. This transmission corridor will facilitate the smooth transmission of electricity and help meet the growing demand for electricity in the region.

With the rapid increase in the deployment of renewable energy projects, there has been an urgent need to enhance grid connectivity. Since August 2019 the Government has implemented Jal Jeevan Mission to provide assured potable water through household tap connections in rural India.
