Andhra Pradesh releases tender for UG Cabling and Covered Conductor works

Eastern Power Distribution Company Of A.P Limited has released a tender for Design, Supply and Installation of UG Cabling and Covered Conductor works in Disaster Prone areas under EPC mode.

The tender seeks electrical works worth Rs 8,25,61,99,432 crore to be completed in 24 months. As per the tender, the bid validity will be 120 days, and it will be an open bidding process. The bid submission period began on April 12, 2023 and will end on April 26, 2023.

Detailed scope of work-
Design, Supply and Installation of UG Cabling and Covered Conductor works in Disaster Prone areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram & Eluru Circles of Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited under Loss Reduction Distribution Infrastructure works on Partial Turn Key Basis (RMUs will be supplied by APEPDCL) under Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).

The work is to be executed on turnkey basis, the scope of which includes survey, network design, supply, manufacturer’s quality assurance, testing (where specified/ required), transportation, storage, erection, including all civil/ structural works, site testing, commissioning of all items & materials including all associated activities though not exclusively specified herein and are required for the completion and satisfactory performance of the entire works as intended.

As per the schedule the bidder shall submit a preliminary implementation plan along with the bid.
