Ather Energy Doubles Service Network To 500 Centres Nationwide

Ather Energy Limited has expanded its authorised service network to 500 centres across India as it scales its retail footprint and customer base. The company said it focused on ensuring service support in every city where it sells scooters to make electric two-wheeler ownership seamless and convenient for riders. In fiscal year 2026 the service network nearly doubled from 277 to 500 centres, reflecting a significant increase in its service footprint.

Ather is investing in service quality, efficiency and the customer experience through initiatives such as Gold Service Centres that feature modern customer lounges, advanced service equipment and streamlined processes to enhance transparency and reliability. The company also operates an ExpressCare initiative, a 60-minute periodic maintenance service offered at 82 centres to allow riders to complete routine maintenance quickly without compromising quality. These measures form part of a broader effort to improve the service experience at every touchpoint.

The expansion accompanies strong demand for the Ather 450 performance line and the Ather Rizta family scooter, which have broadened the company's reach into new customer segments and markets. By expanding service alongside retail, Ather now provides reliable and timely support across Tier-one, Tier-two and emerging cities while continuing its plan to scale Experience Centres to 700 by fiscal year 2026. As of 31 December 2025, the company reported 600 Experience Centres.

Ather is also strengthening India's electric vehicle ecosystem through the Ather Grid, described as the country's largest two-wheeler fast-charging network with over 4,357 fast-charging points and neighbourhood chargers globally as of 31 December 2025. The company highlighted its focus on research and development and on building infrastructure, and reported intellectual property of 321 registered trademarks, 247 registered designs and 50 registered patents with pending applications for 120 trademarks, 64 designs and 536 patents globally. These developments are intended to support convenient charging and comprehensive rider support as the company scales.
