BCPL to infuse Rs 4.5 billion for naphtha storage

Brahmaputra Cracker & Polymers (BCPL) has reportedly proposed an investment of Rs 4.5 billion in the Haldia port area of West Bengal for a naphtha import storage and despatch facility. The Assam Gas Cracker project, the largest petrochemical project in the Northeast, is being implemented by BPCL. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port received the feasibility report from the company (SMP). SMP Kolkata has three ongoing projects worth Rs 7.5 billion, and several projects worth Rs 25 billion will be developed over the next three to four years.
