Bids called for 54 MW solar projects in Gujarat

The Uttar Gujarat Vij Company (UGVCL) has requested bids for the installation and commissioning of 54 MW of grid-connected solar power projects for agricultural feeders as part of Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) programme, as well as the 11 kV line and the remote monitoring system. The renewable energy service company (RESCO) model will be used to create the project. The deadline for submitting proposals online is July 19, 2022. Bids will be opened on July 25. The government plans to solarise 1.5 million grid-connected solar pumps with individual capacities of up to 7.5 HP under Component C of the KUSUM initiative by 2022.
