CESL invites bids for solar carport, rooftop solar system in Leh
Convergence Energy Services (CESL) has invited online bids to set up a 242 kW solar carport and rooftop solar system with lithium-based battery energy storage system (BESS) of capacity 762 kWh with five years of operation & maintenance (O&M) at Leh in Ladakh.
The deadline to submit the bids is 13 August 2021, and it will be opened on the same day. The bidders have to pay Rs 20,000 for the bid document.
The work includes designing, engineering, construction, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and O&M for the prescribed five years.
The solar carport is to be developed in an area that can accommodate ten cars with a capacity of 50 kW. The rooftop solar system with BESS would have a power capacity of 190 kW.
Supply, installation, and commissioning of the project should be finished in six months from the date of issue of the letter of award.
To participate in the bidding, the bidder should be a limited company under the Indian Companies Act 1956 or the Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) Act 2002. Only two members of the consortium are allowed to participate in the bidding.
The bidder must be operational for at least the past three financial years (FY). The bidder should be a manufacturer of the battery or electric vehicle (EV) chargers or a manufacturer of solar PV modules or inverters for at least three years from the date of issue of the tender.
The bidder must have supplied, installed, commissioned or maintained BESS with a capacity of 500 kW or more for at least three years for any government or private sector.
The annual turnover of the bidder for the last three financial years should be Rs 12.6 million. For the consortium, the lead bidder and its partner must meet the criteria of the tender.
The bidder's net worth for FY 2020-21 should be at least 100% of the paid share capital.
