Cleantech Solar signs deals for 60 MW open access solar projects in TN

Cleantech Solar, a company specialising in renewable energy solutions for businesses in India and Southeast Asia, announced that it has entered into long-term power purchase agreements with prominent commercial and industrial customers in Tamil Nadu. The agreements are aimed at developing 60 MW of open access solar PV projects.

As stated in the official press release, these projects will be constructed within the developer's solar park located in the Tirunelveli district. The press release further explained that the generated power from these projects will be exclusively procured by the consumers to support their manufacturing operations in the state. The customer base for these projects is diverse and includes sectors such as automotive, chemicals, and education.

Sachin Jain, the CEO of Cleantech Solar, emphasised that by diversifying their energy sources, these corporations will not only achieve a stable energy supply but also benefit from significant cost savings in electricity expenses.
