Diamond Power Infra wins Rs 570.58 million cable supply order

Diamond Power Infrastructure has secured a cable supply order worth Rs 570.58 million from Rajesh Power Services, strengthening its order book in the domestic power transmission and distribution segment.

The order is for the supply of 11 kV (E) 3C 300 sq mm XLPE Aluminium Armoured Cables, to be manufactured in line with UGVCL Robust 2.0 specifications. The purchase order has been awarded on a kilometre-rate basis with applicable PV formulae and is scheduled to be executed between January 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026.

According to the company, the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, and neither the promoters nor any related parties of Diamond Power Infrastructure have any interest in the awarding company. The order does not fall under related-party transactions, the company confirmed.

Diamond Power Infrastructure is engaged in the manufacturing and supply of transmission and distribution power products and services in India, catering to utilities, infrastructure developers and industrial customers. The company has been witnessing strong operational and financial momentum, supported by rising investments in power infrastructure and grid modernisation.

For the second quarter of FY26, Diamond Power Infrastructure reported a sharp improvement in performance, with consolidated net profit surging 593.3 per cent year-on-year to Rs 270.73 million. Net sales during the quarter rose 75.1 per cent to Rs 4.38 billion, compared with the corresponding period last year, reflecting higher capacity utilisation and improved order execution.

Rajesh Power Services Limited provides consultancy and execution services to state transmission and distribution companies, private utilities and industrial clients. The company also reported robust financial growth in Q2 FY26, with consolidated net profit jumping 119.84 per cent to Rs 580.06 million, while net sales increased 103.74 per cent to Rs 6.37 billion over Q2 FY25.

The latest order underscores sustained demand for power cables amid ongoing expansion and upgradation of electricity networks across the country.
