26th Cable TV Show 2025 Opens in Kolkata

The 26th CABLE TV SHOW 2025, recognised as one of India’s largest trade exhibitions for digital cable television, broadband and OTT services in the SAARC region, was recently inaugurated at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Milan Mela, Kolkata. The show was formally opened by the Chief Guest, Subhas Agarwala, National Executive Chairman, Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT). Open to visitors through on-site registration, the three-day event runs until 19 December 2025 and is expected to attract over 100,000 footfalls.

Organised by the Kolkata-based Cable TV Equipments Traders & Manufacturers Association (CTMA), the event marks 30 years of the association’s journey alongside the evolution of Indian television. From its modest beginnings, the exhibition has grown into the region’s premier platform for digital cable and broadband technologies, reflecting the sector’s transformation over three decades.

Commenting on the milestone, Pawan Jajodia, Chairman Exhibition, CTMA, said the occasion was both proud and emotional for the association. He noted that the CABLE TV SHOW has grown hand-in-hand with the Indian cable and broadcasting industry and expressed confidence that the 2025 edition would be the largest and most successful to date. Jajodia also highlighted CTMA’s role over the years in supporting cable operators, MSOs, HITS operators, ISPs and vendors in eastern India through regulatory changes, market disruption and emerging opportunities, positioning the show as a ‘must-visit’ B2B platform for the industry.

The 2025 edition features an expanded exhibition footprint with 90 participants across 90 stalls and 46 pavilions. Leading brands are showcasing the latest technologies, products, solutions and services, drawing delegates and buyers from across India and other SAARC countries. The show is positioned as a major networking and business development platform, where partnerships are forged and future growth strategies take shape.

K K Binani, Secretary, CTMA, said the rapid pace of technological change in the cable television sector has made innovation and adaptation critical. He added that CATV SHOW 2025 offers operators and visitors hands-on exposure to emerging technologies, alongside seminars and structured B2B meetings designed to strengthen industry collaboration.

More than 10,000 cable operators, MSOs, traders, manufacturers, broadcasters, OTT professionals, buyers and importers from India and overseas are expected to attend the event. The show is supported by Gold sponsors Alliance Broadband Services and Meghbela Cable Broadband Services Pvt Ltd.
