EVRE to set up about 1,000 EV charging hubs by 2023 year-end

Electric vehicle charging service provider (EVRE) has announced to have about 1,000 tech-enabled EV charging hubs by the 2023 year-end.

The firm told the media that it aims to diversify the growth in the charging stations to fill the EV chargers demand across the country.

As per the estimates, nearly Rs 500 crore of cumulative overall investment would be required to accomplish this landmark.

EVRE revealed that these EV fleets comprise models utilised for high-speed consumer goods, e-commerce, commercial and passenger EVs used for intracity, and last-mile mobility.

The firm is planning to reach this landmark by partnering with individual partners in which EVRE would remain a technology enabler. The partners would have ownership of the hubs, including charging stations, land, and electrical infrastructure. At present, EVRE runs more than 50 EV charging hubs.

Krishna K Jasti, EVRE co-founder and CEO, said that after setting up 1,000 automated EV charging hubs, the firm aims to establish the largest technology-enabled EV charging ecosystem in the country.

He said that EVRE understands the necessities of EV drivers and owners and the requirement for an impeccable charging experience in their daily life.

Jasti added that the firm is promoting people to engage and contribute to the development of the clean-mobility revolution, which would lead to the more rapid adoption of EVs in the country.
