GEON Appoints Mahender Singh as COO

GEON, the future technologies division of Kabra Extrusiontechnik, has appointed Mahender Singh as Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, he will lead business operations and strategic growth initiatives as the company strengthens its position in India’s clean energy ecosystem.

Singh will oversee end-to-end operations across manufacturing, sourcing, R&D engineering and plant operations. His focus areas will include strategic growth, quality, after-sales service, organisational capability building and stronger customer partnerships.

GEON provides sustainable energy solutions, specialising in advanced lithium-ion battery packs for electric vehicles. The company has also expanded into Battery Energy Storage Systems, industrial energy solutions and home energy storage applications, supporting India’s transition towards cleaner energy.

Singh brings over 25 years of leadership experience across the automotive, electric vehicle, electronics and industrial manufacturing sectors. He has overseen multi-entity P&Ls of up to Rs 4,500 crore and managed global operations across Europe and Asia. Before joining GEON, he served as President at Varroc Engineering, where he led over 10,000 employees across 17 manufacturing plants.
