L&T Realty Launches Premium Housing Project in Malad

L&T Realty has expanded its presence in Mumbai's western suburbs with the launch of Ahana, a premium residential development in Malad.

Located along the Western Express Highway near Kurar Metro station, the project marks the company's entry into one of Mumbai's emerging residential micro-markets. The development has been designed around the theme 'Connect with Life', with a focus on reducing commute times and enhancing everyday living experiences for urban families.

The project offers connectivity to key commercial districts including Goregaon, Andheri and Bandra-Kurla Complex, while benefiting from the established social and physical infrastructure of the Malad micro-market.

Ahana comprises 554 premium residences, featuring two-, three- and four-bedroom configurations. L&T Realty will initially launch 258 units, with carpet areas ranging from 845 sq. ft. to 2,080 sq. ft. According to the company, all residences have been designed with balconies, efficient layouts and large façade openings to maximise natural light and ventilation.

The development also includes a range of lifestyle amenities distributed across three levels, catering to wellness, recreation, social interaction, work and leisure. Curated spaces have been planned to promote community engagement and provide residents with a comprehensive living experience.

In line with its sustainability objectives, the project incorporates several environment-friendly features, including EV charging infrastructure, rainwater harvesting systems, recycled water usage, solar energy solutions and energy-efficient services. Advanced security systems, access controls and digital home features have also been integrated into the development.

L&T Realty said the project reflects changing homebuyer preferences towards integrated neighbourhoods that offer accessibility, convenience and long-term liveability. The company added that developments in high-growth corridors such as Malad align with its strategy of creating future-ready communities in well-connected urban locations.

With Ahana, L&T Realty continues to strengthen its residential portfolio in Mumbai while expanding its footprint across key growth markets in the city.
