GREW Solar Secures 500 MW Module Supply Order

GREW Solar has secured a 500 megawatt (MW) module supply order from a leading Indian power developer to support utility-scale solar deployment. The company will supply domestically manufactured modules from its M10R and G12R platforms designed to enhance energy output and maintain stable performance across diverse climatic environments. The order reflects growing demand for high-efficiency locally manufactured solar modules as developers accelerate project execution to meet national renewable expansion targets.

Industry momentum towards domestic sourcing, supported by policy measures and supply chain localisation, is driving module procurement from Indian manufacturers. GREW Solar is scaling manufacturing capacity while strengthening its product portfolio to align with evolving requirements across utility-scale and commercial segments. The firm is investing in technology advancement and quality manufacturing to support efficient project delivery and to contribute to the country’s clean energy transition.

GREW Solar operates a six point five gigawatt (GW) photovoltaic module manufacturing facility in Dudu, Rajasthan, and has plans to expand capacity to 11 gigawatt (GW). The company is also establishing an eight gigawatt (GW) solar photovoltaic cell manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. GREW produces high-efficiency N-type TOPCon solar modules on the M10R and G12R platforms for utility, commercial, industrial and rooftop applications.

Company executives said the order marks a milestone for GREW Solar and reflects confidence in the firm’s manufacturing capabilities and product quality, noting that the modules are designed to deliver consistent performance and support efficient project execution. The supply agreement underlines the role of domestic manufacturing in India’s renewable strategy and is expected to aid developers as they pursue capacity additions. The transaction comes as the firm continues to invest in scaling output and advancing product lines to meet growing market demand.
