Headsup B2B joins PM Surya Ghar as national solar vendor

Headsup B2B Private Limited, a B2B procurement and supply chain platform focused on infrastructure and green energy sectors, has been listed as a National Vendor on the PM Surya Ghar National Portal, enabling eligible residential consumers to select the company for rooftop solar installations.

The move expands Headsup B2B’s solar operations into the residential segment, adding to its existing business of supplying solar solutions to EPC companies, channel partners, project developers and institutional customers.

Under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, the government aims to support rooftop solar installations for 1 crore households. Eligible households installing 1–3 kW residential rooftop solar systems can receive central financial assistance of up to Rs 78,000, subject to scheme guidelines and installation verification.

As a National Vendor on the portal, Headsup B2B will undertake rooftop solar installations for eligible consumers who select the company through the platform. The company is currently developing operational capabilities for the residential segment, including solar equipment inventory, distribution networks and installer partnerships.

The rollout will begin in selected markets and expand to additional districts and states as the company strengthens its local installation and fulfilment capabilities. Patna and Dausa hubs will support solar inventory management, distribution and installer network development.

Sumit Kumar, Founder and Director, Headsup B2B, said, “Being listed as a National Vendor on the PM Surya Ghar portal allows us to participate in the residential rooftop solar market. This adds a residential customer segment to our existing work with EPC companies, project developers and institutional customers.”

The company plans to increase installer and distribution capacity across multiple markets while continuing to serve EPC companies, institutional customers and project developers through its solar procurement and supply chain platform.
