Headsup B2B Partners StrideOne for Buyer Financing

Headsup B2B Private Limited, a B2B infrastructure and industrial goods marketplace, has partnered with StrideOne, an RBI-registered NBFC and embedded-finance platform, to provide working capital financing options to eligible buyers on its platform.

Under the partnership, qualified buyers can access short-term, invoice-backed credit for purchases made through the platform. The initiative aims to help businesses manage cash flow requirements, particularly when material procurement timelines precede customer payments.

The financing facility will cater to established MSMEs and mid-market businesses, including contractors, EPC companies and manufacturers. The initial focus will be on businesses across Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Bihar, with plans to expand the offering to additional markets and sectors.

As part of the arrangement, StrideOne will provide the financing infrastructure and access to its lender network, while Headsup B2B will integrate the financing option into its procurement platform. This will enable eligible buyers to secure working capital against approved invoices linked to platform transactions.

The partnership is expected to support transaction growth on Headsup B2B by helping buyers manage procurement requirements without arranging separate financing channels. The company will initially extend the service to its existing qualified buyer base and scale based on adoption, utilisation and repayment performance.

Commenting on the partnership, Sumit Kumar, Founder and Director, Headsup B2B, said that integrating financing into the procurement journey will provide businesses, particularly MSMEs and project-driven companies, greater flexibility in managing working capital requirements.

The programme is planned to expand over the next 12–24 months, with Headsup B2B aiming to extend the financing solution to more buyers, sectors and geographies based on programme performance.
