Hindalco to acquire stake in a 5 MW captive open access wind project

Hindalco Industries is to purchase a 26 per cent stake in Cleanwin Energy SIX's 5 MW captive open access wind project. Hindalco stated that it is looking into ways to lower its energy expenditures and open access from captive renewable energy sources is one approach. In light of this, the corporation plans to invest in the wind power producer Cleanwin Energy SIX. The 26 per cent share will cost Rs. 7.15 million ($90,578).
