JAKEDA Floats Bids for 60 MW Hydro Projects in J&K

In a significant move to boost renewable energy in the region, the Jammu & Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA), under the Department of Science & Technology, has issued Request for Qualification (RFQ) proposals for the development of 35 hydroelectric power projects with a total generation capacity of 60 megawatts across the Union Territory.
These projects will be implemented under two development models:
