Kalpataru Projects International Secures Rs 20.02 bn Orders

Kalpataru Projects International (KPIL) has secured new orders worth Rs 20.02 bn across its power, buildings and railways businesses. The contracts form part of the company's continuing expansion in domestic and overseas infrastructure markets and cover multiple segments including transmission and distribution, buildings and factories and metro rail.

The newly secured awards include power transmission and distribution work in overseas markets, buildings and factories projects in India and railway assignments within the country. The managing director and chief executive officer said the wins strengthened the company's position in high?growth markets in the Middle East and the Nordics, that the buildings and factories business continued to secure repeat orders from valued clients and that the rail business had reinforced its footprint in the metro rail segment.

Kalpataru Projects International is one of the largest specialised engineering, procurement and construction companies engaged in power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, water supply and irrigation, railways, oil and gas pipelines, urban mobility including flyovers and metro rail, highways and airports. The company is executing projects in over 30 countries and has a global footprint in 75 countries.

The order book of Rs 20.02 bn will support revenue visibility across the three segments and bolster operations across KPIL's geographical mix. The company has indicated confidence in the growth prospects of its businesses as it pursues further tendering and execution activities.
