KNY, Electrotech To Develop 200 MW Solar Plants

KNY Projects and Electrotech have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly develop and commission up to 200 MW of solar power capacity across India, the companies announced on Tuesday.
Under the agreement, Electrotech will be responsible for supplying advanced solar modules, inverters, and other critical equipment for the projects. KNY Projects will act as the developer and independent power producer (IPP), handling the project development, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), and overseeing the long-term operations of the solar plants.
The solar projects will be located across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, according to Adarsh Ladda, Director at Electrotech (P) Ltd.
The partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy infrastructure in India and contribute to the country’s clean energy transition.
