Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd. (KREDL) has unveiled plans to develop a significant solar power project with integrated battery storage capacity of 100 megawatts (MW). This initiative marks a crucial step towards enhancing Karnataka's renewable energy capacity and ensuring sustainable power supply.

The project aims to leverage solar energy during the day and store excess electricity in batteries for use during peak demand periods or when solar generation is low.
