L&T Secures Key Role in TenneT’s Landmark Offshore Wind Programme

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has achieved a major milestone in its offshore wind business by securing a key role in the High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) offshore wind programme of TenneT, the Dutch–German transmission system operator.

In collaboration with Hitachi Energy, L&T will deliver advanced HVDC converter stations to integrate large-scale renewable energy into the European grid, particularly across the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea. The initiative reinforces L&T’s position as a vital contributor to the global energy transition.
