Murmu Leads Energy Conservation Day Festivities

President Droupadi Murmu will preside over the National Energy Conservation Day celebrations and award ceremony on Thursday, December 14th.

The event will see the President felicitating winners of the National Energy Conservation Awards, National Energy Efficiency Innovation Awards, and National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation, recognizing their achievements in promoting energy efficiency.

Observed annually on December 14th, National Energy Conservation Day aims to raise awareness about the importance of energy conservation and showcase India's progress in energy efficiency and conservation.

President Murmu will address the gathering and present awards to deserving individuals and organizations. Power and New & Renewable Energy Minister RK Singh and Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries Krishan Pal will also grace the occasion.

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency, under the Ministry of Power, organizes the National Energy Conservation Day celebrations and awards to encourage and promote energy efficiency initiatives across India.
