Panasonic partners with SBI to provide financing to its solar customers

Toshiba to increase production capacity of transmission and distribution equipment
To address the growing global demand for power transmission and distribution (T&D) equipment amid the global trend of renewable energy expansion, Toshiba Transmission and Distribution Systems (India) (TTDI) said that it will increase its manufacturing capacity of power transformers and distribution transformer by approximately 1.5 times compared to FY2023, over a three-year period from FY2024 to FY2026. Toshiba Group has positioned the power T&D business as a focus business and will invest over `5 billion in TTDI to expand its capacity. With this investment, TTDI will increase its assembly and test line capacity for distribution transformers and power transformers for the transmission grids and distribution networks. Its enhanced testing capacity for power transformers will represent a significant upgrade in its testing capacity.

Freyr Energy is all set to solarise 1,000+ homes by March 2025

BluPine Energy bags financial closure for 120 MW solar project in Gujarat
BluPine Energy announced the financial closure for its 120 MW solar project in Panshina and Radhanpur village of Gujarat under Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL). This milestone has been achieved through securing debt financing from State Bank of India. The total sanctioned debt for this ambitious project amounts to `4.36 billion. Once operational, the plant is expected to generate approximately 0.298 million MWh of energy annually, offsetting an estimated 0.27 million tonnes of CO2 emissions each year and supplying power to around 0.27 million households.

Servotech leads Green push with solar-powered EV charging carport
Servotech Power Systems in collaboration with India’s apex solar organisation, the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI), has inaugurated Delhi’s first grid-connected solar-powered EV charging carport.
