PIGL Wins Rs 95 Million Solar Project in Gujarat

Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited (PIGL), a prominent player in the electrical contracting and infrastructure development space, has secured a new work order valued at Rs 95 million (excluding GST) from Sadashiv Projects India Private Limited.
The contract involves the design, engineering, supply, and testing for a 5.00 MWp ground-mounted solar project, covering materials and related services across multiple locations in Gujarat. The project is scheduled for completion within six months.
This order reflects PIGL’s technical capabilities in delivering comprehensive solutions from conceptual design to final testing. It also underscores the company’s growing presence in the renewable energy sector as India accelerates its clean energy transition.
Commenting on the development, Mr Padmaraj Padmnabhan Pillai, Managing Director of PIGL, said, “We are delighted to secure this 5.00 MWp solar order from Sadashiv Projects. It aligns with our commitment to support India’s renewable energy ambitions and offers us a platform to demonstrate our expertise in technically demanding projects with strict timelines.”
This is PIGL’s second solar project and marks a notable milestone in the company’s strategic diversification into the green energy segment. With a strong foundation in both conventional and renewable domains, PIGL continues to position itself as a dependable partner for sustainable infrastructure development.
