Rajasthan govt vows uninterrupted power supply; acknowledges shortfalls
Minister of State for Energy (Independent Charge) Hiralal Nagar stated that the Rajasthan government is committed to ensuring round-the-clock electricity for the state's consumers.
Addressing supplementary questions during the Question Hour in the Assembly, the minister outlined the government's plan to deliver uninterrupted power supply.
Nagar affirmed, "The state aims to furnish six hours of continuous electricity to agricultural consumers and ensure 24-hour availability for general consumers daily."
He also acknowledged that the expansion of the power and transmission systems fell short of expectations in the past five years.
