REC Honoured for Promoting Hindi in Official Operations

REC Corporate Office in Gurugram has been honoured by the Antarrashtriya Hindi Parishad for its contribution towards promoting and implementing Hindi as the Official Language in organisational operations. The award was presented at a ceremony held at the Bihar Legislative Assembly Hall in Patna.

The recognition was conferred by the Hon’ble Governor of Nagaland, Nandkishore Yadav, and the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Dr Prem Kumar. The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including former Governor of Sikkim Shri Ganga Prasad, former Union Ministers Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey and Shri Sanjay Paswan, and former DGP of Bihar  Alok Raj.

S.K. Bage, Senior General Manager and Chief Programme Manager (CPM), REC Patna office, received the award on behalf of REC.

The honour acknowledges REC’s continued efforts towards effective implementation of the Official Language policy, increasing the use of Hindi in official communication, conducting language training programmes and encouraging technology-enabled Hindi usage across the organisation.

REC stated that the recognition reflects the collective commitment of its officers and employees towards strengthening Hindi usage in official work. The achievement will further encourage the organisation to continue its initiatives for promoting the Official Language in the future."
