REC to Fund Health Equipment in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power and a leading NBFC, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the District Health Society (DHS) Raipur under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. 

REC has committed financial assistance of Rs 20.09 million for the procurement of health equipment for three Community Health Centres (CHC) and the District Hospital of Raipur District, Chhattisgarh. The project will be implemented by the DHS, Raipur.

The agreement was signed on January 09, 2025 between Dr. Mithilesh Choudhary, Chief Medical & Health Officer, Raipur, and Shri.

This intervention aims to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare services, particularly for underserved and vulnerable populations, ensuring better patient outcomes, faster diagnoses, and timely treatment.
