SECI Invites Bids for Internet Connectivity at 10 MW Rajasthan Solar Project

Solar Energy Corporation of India has invited bids for Internet connectivity services at its 10 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) project located at Badi Sid in Bap in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. The tender calls for Internet Leased Line (ILL) services and requires bidders to submit techno-commercial and price proposals online through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The procurement is intended for a period of five years and the request emphasises operational continuity and compliance with service level requirements. The announcement identifies the project site in Phalodi tehsil and sets clear timelines for commissioning.\n\nThe tender document stipulates a non-refundable bid fee of Rs. 5,000 exclusive of GST at 18 per cent per bid, payable by NEFT, RTGS, demand draft or banker's cheque in favour of Solar Energy Corporation of India. Bidders must ensure that submission of financial proposals follows the GeM portal rules and that bids meet eligibility and technical criteria contained in the tender. The successful provider will be responsible for commissioning the link within 45 days from the date of award of the GeM contract.\n\nUnder the scope of work the provider is to provision and commission a 10 megabits per second Internet Leased Line with a 1:1 contention ratio on an annual subscription basis at the project site, ensuring end-to-end connectivity including last mile and performing necessary testing and commissioning activities. The contractor will also be required to provide eight public IP addresses and to submit quarterly reports on internet bandwidth utilisation and performance. Hardware supply, installation, configuration and maintenance of routers and Layer 3 devices are included in the contract at no additional cost to the corporation. The terms require support and maintenance services to be available seven days a week throughout the contract period.\n\nThe contract will remain valid for five years from commissioning. Records must be maintained of service performance and made available for review.
