Suzlon Secures 225 MW Turbine Order in India

Renewable energy company Suzlon has secured a significant order to supply 75 turbines, each with a capacity of 3 MW, for a wind farm project in the southern state of India. The wind farm, with a total capacity of 225 MW, is slated to contribute power to both commercial and industrial customers.

Suzlon's accomplishment in securing this turbine order aligns with the growing emphasis on renewable energy in India's power sector. The project in South India reflects the nation's commitment to expanding its wind energy capacity and transitioning towards sustainable and clean power sources.

With the implementation of these turbines, the wind farm is expected to make a substantial contribution to India's renewable energy goals. The development not only signifies Suzlon's role as a key player in the country's wind energy sector but also underscores the broader industry's momentum towards harnessing wind power for a greener and more sustainable future.
