Waaree Wins 40 MWhr BESS Project in Gujarat

Waaree Renewable Technologies (WRTL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Continuum Green Energy for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work of a 40 MWhr battery energy storage system (BESS) at wind-solar hybrid sites across Gujarat. The project, valued at approximately ?40 crore, is set to play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of renewable energy in the region.

The project will feature an advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP)-based liquid-cooled containerised BESS solution, marking a significant leap forward in the integration of energy storage with renewable energy sources. Executed under a Lump Sum Turnkey Project agreement, it will combine solar power with battery storage to provide a unified, sustainable energy solution.
