Odisha Approves Renewable Projects Worth Rs 8.70 Bn
The Government of Odisha has cleared four new renewable energy projects with a cumulative capacity of 178 megawatts, drawing investments totalling Rs 8.69 billion, according to a statement from the State Energy Department.The approvals were granted earlier this week by the department’s single window committee, which facilitates swift clearances for large-scale power and energy projects.Among the approved initiatives, Prozeal Green Energy will set up a 69.5 MW solar park at Biramaharajpur in Subarnapur district, while INOX Solar has received clearance for a 49.5 MW solar project in Telkoi, Ke..

In a major stride towards nuclear self-reliance, India’s first privately built test facility for upgrading depleted heavy water has been commissioned by TEMA India Ltd.
