Terex India delivers exceptional service through its multiple warehouses present across the country. This enables them in providing fast after-sales service to their customers. Speaking of bauma CONEXPO INDIA, Jaideep Shekhar, Managing Director, Terex India, shares more… Expectation from the expo: We are excited to showcase a diverse range of machinery and products from Terex MP at this year’s Bauma, including cranes, compact crushing equipment, hybrid technology, modular crushers, and sustainable sand washing solutions. We are proud of the variety we will be displaying and look forward to meeting both existing and new customers and partners to showcase our newest innovations. Product innovation this year: As India experiences rapid urbanisation, the crushing and screening industry is also growing, driving a demand for more efficient and advanced construction equipment. Digitisation and automation are having a major impact on construction projects and customers are increasingly looking for cost-effective machines with lower emissions. This is leading manufacturers to shift towards electric and hybrid vehicles. Our Hybrid technology and Telematics are prime examples of this trend. We were one of the first companies in the crushing and screening sector to launch telematics across our tracked mobile equipment, giving customers access to comprehensive information such as production data, performance data and other important parameters. Our telematics goes beyond just providing statistics and numbers, it also includes predictive maintenance, allowing customers to know when their machines need service or parts need to be replaced. This will be particularly beneficial for large companies that operate multiple crushers at different sites, as telematics will allow them to access information on their entire fleet from their head office or technical division. Challenges faced in the industry: One of the biggest challenges facing the crushing and screening industry is the shortage of skilled and trained personnel to operate equipment. Terex India is working closely with its customers to ensure the availability of trained operators who can safely and efficiently operate more advanced and intelligent equipment. The company has a dedicated training center at its Hosur facility that provides advanced training to crusher operators and plant supervisors. The center is accredited by the Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council (IESC) under the Skill India and NSDC programme of the Indian government.
