Paras Semiconductors, part of Paras Defence, has signed an MoU with Madhya Pradesh Electronics Corporation to develop a `6,200 crore greenfield OSAT facility on 50 acres along the Ujjain-Indore Corridor.The plant will focus on advanced IC packaging technologies such as 3D integration and chiplets, vital for defence, aerospace, space, sensors, and AI applications. This initiative supports India’s semiconductor self-reliance drive.The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved a budget of `12,264 crore for the construction of two new link expressways connecting the Agra-Lucknow Expressway with the Purvanchal and Ganga Expressways.The project includes the Vindhya Expressway alignment (estimated `26,315 crore) and the Vindhya-Purvanchal Spur Link (estimated `9,039 crore). Tendering will begin soon, with construction targeted for 36 months, followed by 5 years of maintenance.The plan for One Business Bay in Mumbai has been updated, increasing the Gross Leasable Area from 2.16 lakh Sq. Ft to 3.5 Lakh Sq. This results in an FSI of 11 from previous 6 on a 0.8 acres land parcel at Senapati Bapat Marg, Mahim, South Mumbai.A new manufacturing facility for metro trains and their components is being set up by PPS International in Sector-32, YEIDA, Jewar. The 25-acre land allotment will facilitate an investment of approximately Rs.551 CR and create over 1,000 jobs. Environmental clearance has been applied for.Eleven group has announced plans to invest over `4,700 crore in a renewable-led power network in Haryana. The project aims to offer consumers an alternative to the existing state utility. Its parallel distribution licence is currently under regulatory review.“Raymond Realty has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for a luxury housing project in Parel, Mumbai, with an estimated revenue potential of `8,500 crore. The project spans 11 acres, offering 800–1,000 units over 17 lakh sq. ft. of carpet area. Apartments are expected to sell at `8–10 crore per unit, with peak investment of Rs.700 crore.The Bihar Cabinet has approved `1,329.59 crore for the acquisition of 3,145.23 acres for the proposed Ajgaibinath Dham Greenfield Airport. Land includes 1,425.11 acres in Bhagalpur (`556.12 Cr compensation) and 1,720.12 acres in Munger (`773.46 Cr). An additional 1,025 acres are earmarked for an integrated aerospace and aviation ecosystem. The project aims to create a long-term aviation and industrial hub in eastern Bihar, generating employment and supporting regional growth.”Brigade Hotel Ventures has earmarked ₹1,100 crore for expansion in Chennai, planning three new hotels. The group currently operates a 202-key Holiday Inn Chennai on the OMR IT Expressway. The expansion aims to strengthen Chennai’s premium hospitality infrastructure, support tourism and business travel, and generate employment opportunities.The Chennai-Bengaluru High Speed Rail (HSR) project has progressed to the Detailed Project Report (DPR) update stage. The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is undertaking fresh engineering surveys along the corridor. This development marks a significant step towards the execution of the proposed project. The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) is planning to include the extensions of Phase I under Phase III. The extensions include Airport - Kilambakkam Bus Terminus, Koyambedu - Avadi - Pattabiram, and Poonamallee - Sunguvarchatram. Approval from the Centre is expected in the coming months.The Andhra Pradesh Government has approved eight private industrial parks covering 4,198.55 acres with a total investment of ₹1,720.88 crore for plug-and-play infrastructure.
