Innovative Floor Protection

Supreme Industries presents its new-age, eco-friendly and economical solution to protect floor tiling from damage and attrition.

The booming construction industry in India has attracted many floor protection sheet manufacturers to innovate floor protection sheets to resolve flooring related predicaments. Floor protection sheets are considered superior to conventional methods like Plaster of Paris (POP), which is laid on the flooring during construction and removed later, to avoid damage to tiles. Aa cumbersome and time consuming job, there are also chances of getting scratches on the tiles while removing POP. The use and disposal of POP creates an environmental hazard. Hence, contractors are increasingly favouring the use of floor protection sheets.

Hence, the use of floor protection sheets becomes necessary in under construction sites, where it is a normal practice to complete all the electrical and other fittings after the flooring is completed. Portable scaffoldings, tools and equipment move on the floor, often causing damage to the flooring, unless it is properly protected.

Ideal for flooring
DURAfloorprotector-xf, manufactured by Supreme Industries, is a composite of high-strength cross-laminated film and cushioning foam, protecting floor tiles from scratch or attrition. This sheet can be applied on any type of flooring - wood, ceramic and vinyl floors during construction, can be cut to fit in any space, and works well on either side. It is a closed-cell, polymer-based microcellular foam, reinforced with high performance polymers, does not absorb paint, oil, grease and cleaning agents, and its anti-slip properties provide a safe work environment for workers.

Award winning solution
This 100 per cent recyclable product can be laid and removed easily and can also be cleaned and reused, making it extremely economical and also solving the problem of disposal. Further, DURAfloorprotector-xf has won the Runner-up award in the category - Innovation in Polymer Science and Technology at the 6th National Awards for Technology Innovation in Petrochemical and Downstream Plastics Processing Industry.
